Lyrics
Intro Prayer:
My Lord in heaven,
I give you all the praise
Thank you for your blood,
Thank you for creating access to you
Thank you for your patience with me when I myself did not have any
For believing in me before I ever did
Nothing I could ever do will ever compare to all that you've done
Accept give you my life
So I fully surrender, to you
In Jesus name, Amen
Verse 1
Know my prayer room (game is tight)
Speaking to my Abba (day & night)
Spill my heart & soul (and my mind)
Take me through the darkness into light
It be so addictive,
Once... you become committed and you see the vision
Open up the word, close your mouth and listen
Wisdom in a verse made the right decision
With precision, My God
Listen, you never left me out position
Took away the torment from the opposition
Turned my shackles and chains
Into testimonies
I will never be the same
Knowing you won't ever change
*Chorus*
On My Knees, On My Knees
Brings me Joy and My Peace
On My Knees, On My Knees
Where an hour turns to three
(Midnight to Daylight)
(Won't leave till I get right)
If you understand what I mean
Shout your praises to the King
Verse 2
He wakes me up at 5
Just to hear me cry
Cast all your fears down
Let all your tears drown
He's near you (He's near you)
He sees you
Powerful ain't it, but you could do the same thing
Speak my darkest secrets, ain't no shame in what I'm sayin
Without ceasing earnestly pray
Can't wait to get away
Come boldly to the throne of grace
Enter to my favorite place, (your presence)
*Chorus*
On My Knees, On My Knees
Brings me Joy and My Peace
On My Knees, On My Knees
Where an hour turns to three
(Midnight to Daylight)
(Won't leave till I get right)
If you understand what I mean
Shout your praises to the King
-Bridge-
(Harmony)
I Praise Him, even through the darkest times
I Praise Him, cause the sun has given light
Till my breath leaves my lungs
Earthly things pass and turn to dust
I will Praise Him, Mmhmm
I will Praise Him, you know where I'll be
*Chorus* (2x's)
On My Knees, On My Knees
Brings me Joy and My Peace
On My Knees, On My Knees
Where an hour turns to three
(Midnight to Daylight)
(Won't leave till I get right)
If you understand what I mean
Lift your praises to the King
